HSS upbeat

In a trading update issued yesterday ahead of its full year results, HSS states that revenues were approximately 10 per cent ahead of the prior year and that adjusted EBITA (operating profit before amortisation and exceptional items) for the full year is expected to be marginally ahead of market expectations.

The business reports further progress with its digital hiring system with four large customers transitioning to its self-service platform, HSS Pro, which enables users to manage their hire requirements in one place. It expects more customers to adopt the service over the coming year.

HSS also reports like-for-like revenue growth for the first eight weeks of 2023 of approximately 12 per cent compared against the previous year.

Steve Ashmore, Chief Executive, commented: “We are extremely pleased with the progress made in 2022, both in terms of financial performance and the implementation of our technology roadmap. While we remain mindful of the macroeconomic environment, HSS is well positioned for the year ahead."

Results for the full year 2022 are expected to be announced next month.
