Short tails from Takeuchi

A new addition to the Takeuchi line-up of short tail excavators is the TB335R which weighs in at 3.8 tonnes. 

One of the new 3-Series models, it has a Stage V 18.2kW engine and the larger than average track frame and optimised counterweight are designed to provide excellent stability with just 75mm maximum track overhang, facilitating work where space is limited.

Controls include an automotive-style jog dial and large colour touch screen. Climate control comes as standard with a skylight including a sun shade and rain guard. Also in the cab are a DAB radio, microphone socket, Bluetooth connectivity and a 12V charging socket.

Visibility is enhanced by all-around LED work lights and the blind-side window is larger and lower for maximum dig and slew area viewing. Holding check valves are fitted as standard along with audible warning lift alarm. 

The steel hitch pipework is factory fitted with hand/foot activation switches designed for ease of operation, and regular attachments can be pre-set and password secured.

The swing-out engine canopy and large side panels provide 270° access for daily checks and servicing.
