Speedy takes more Isuzus

Speedy Hire recently added 39 Isuzu 7.5 tonne rigid trucks to its delivery fleet comprising beaver tail plant bodies and half box/half curtain configurations. They have been acquired on a five-year deal through contract hire company Prohire.

Chris Dempsey, managing director – operational support for Speedy said: “We have been operating Isuzu trucks since 2013 and currently we have 45 in total within the fleet. Payload is critical to our operation and the Isuzus provide us with the perfect solution at this GVW (gross vehicle weight), together with excellent back-up support from our local dealer, Warrington Vehicle Centre.”

Jon Corcoran, senior fleet sales manager with Isuzu Truck (UK) said: “Working closely with the incumbent truck provider Prohire, various bodybuilders and our local ITUK truck dealer, we have been able to supply Speedy with the right specification of trucks for their specialist distribution operation.”
