Epiroc breakers in demand

In a further indication of ongoing confidence in the construction industry, attachment manufacturer Epiroc has supplied more than 80 SB 102 hydraulic breakers to ShellPlant, the Northamptonshire-based equipment distributor, for supply to customers in the east of England and northern home counties.
The SB breakers are designed for demolition, construction and utility applications. They have a solid body configuration to give a slimmer, more compact design compared to conventional hydraulic breakers of the same size. This is said to improve visibility and handling.
The SB 102 model can be attached to machines in the 1.1-tonne to 3-tonne class.
Tom Haywood, area sales manager with ShellPlant, says that the business is “constantly increasing our stock levels just to keep ahead of demand.”
Keith Lambourne, national sales manager for Epiroc, added: “In these unprecedented times of disrupted supply channels, it is even more important for Epiroc to work in partnership with dealers such as ShellPlant who are committed to holding stock to meet the needs of customers.”
