The pressures imposed by rising inflation, supply chain disruption and spiralling energy prices are increasing the risk of theft from construction sites, meaning that it is even more important to protect equipment.
Secure tool storage product specialist, Armorgard, is a member of the official police security initiative, Secured by Design (SBD), and has achieved its Police Preferred Specification (PPS) accreditation for the enhanced version of its popular TuffBank tool and equipment store.
Armorgard director Bruce Mitchell says: “We have our products tested and certified by SBD to give our customers reassurance that they are purchasing the best in the market. They’re not just taking our word for it; they have proof from an independent testing body.”
Lyn Poole, development officer at Secured by Design, said: “With trades personnel needing secure storage both in vehicles and on site, Armorgard’s TuffBank products help prevent people from becoming victims of crime and having their tools stolen.”
Earlier this year, Armorgard announced that it is a certified carbon neutral company, having partnered with a global sustainability team. It is now making significant strides towards carbon net zero.
