Bobcats in the snow

Weather forecasters are saying there’s an outside possibility of having a white Christmas in northern parts of the country. Even if not, it’s more than likely that snow clearing equipment will be put to use at some time this winter. 

Bobcat offers an expanded portfolio of attachments for the purpose. Items in the Snow Solutions range can be fitted to the manufacturer’s compact wheel, skid-steer and compact track loaders include snow blades to remove light or moderate snow from pavements and driveways, angled V-blades and snow pushers. 

Snow blowers are available that can throw snow over a distance of up to 12m and there are four sizes of angle broom attachments to sweep light snow, dried mud and other debris.

Also in the line-up are scraper attachments to dislodge packed snow and ice, as well as a hydraulic salt and sand spreader, and large capacity buckets are available with high backs to help with pushing snow and straight sides to penetrate snow piles.
