Doosan compressor range

Doosan Portable Power has launched a new range of small portable compressors for the European market, comprising four models with free air deliveries from 2.5 to 5.0 cu m/min. 

The manufacturer states that approximately 70% of the EU portable compressor market is represented by machines between 2.0 and 5.0 cu m/min, with the main markets being the UK, Germany, France and Belgium. 

The new compressors have model designations whereby the first number indicates the pressure in bar, the second represents nominal air flow in cubic metres per minute and the final number 5 shows that the engines as Stage V compliant. 

Three machines operate at 7 bar nominal pressure, namely the 7/25, 7/45 and 7/55 with outputs of 2.5, 4.0 and 5.0 m³/min, respectively. The 14/35 is a higher pressure model providing 3.0 cu m/min at 13.8 bar.

The compressors can be fitted with an ECOmizer option to automatically match pressure and engine speed to the work task phase for optimal fuel consumption and reduced noise. 

The machines come with Doosan’s Tough Top polymer canopies as standard, with a metal option available. Integrated LED lights are fitted, and the control panel is protected by a lockable cover. 

All the new models weigh in at under 750 kg, meaning that anyone with a standard Category B driver's licence can tow the units behind their vehicle.
