Takeuchi milestones

Takeuchi UK has celebrated 25 years since establishing its operation serving the UK and Ireland. 

The business assembled its entire dealer network for a day of activities at centre near Skipton. The occasion also marked 50 since the very first 360 degree tracked compact excavator invented by Mr Takeuchi himself in 1971.

Owing to the pandemic, this was the first time that the entire Takeuchi team had been able to meet since the Plantworx exhibition in June 2019. 

Also celebrating are Parkway Plant Sales of Stockport (below) who were announced as Takeuchi UK Dealer of the Year. The company has won the award on six previous occasions and has been a dealer for the manufacturer for more than 20 years. 

Achieving success in the Silver and Bronze categories were respectively Breens Farm Machinery (BFM) of Tipperary and CBL serving the south of England. 

Hitoshi Arai, managing director of Takeuchi Mfg. UK Ltd, said: “In an Olympic year we always celebrate Gold, Silver and Bronze. Parkway, BFM and CBL have set the benchmark for 2021. With Parkway’s recent investment in its new head office facility and showroom demonstrates real investment in the brand.”

Takeuchi reports that 2021 was a very busy year despite Covid and that demand for machines still outstrips supply.
