MCS event takes off

A sign that things are returning to something more like normality following the easing of lockdown restrictions is that hire software specialist, MCS, welcomed users to its long-awaited Customer Day earlier this month. 

The event was held at Brooklands Museum in Weybridge, which houses historic motoring and aviation (below) exhibits occupying part of the former Brooklands motor-racing track. 

Clients from across the UK travelled for the meeting to hear about new developments, network with other MCS users and meet the faces behind the software. 

The annual event, which took place remotely last year, allows users to take a break from their normal routine and review how they are using their MCS-rm packages. During the day, they discovered ways to make their processes more efficient, saving time and money.  

Guy van der Knaap, MCS managing director, said: “Seeing our clients face-to-face this year felt particularly significant after what feels like such a long time without being able to see our customers in person. 

“Networking plays a key role at these events. We heard many fantastic conversations amongst users, sharing knowledge throughout the day. The MCS Customer Day brings together like-minded users who can share their favourite tips and tricks and give us the chance to showcase new features in the MCS Rental Software solution.” 

The event has been held at many iconic venues over the years, including RAF London, JCB’s World HQ, Jaguar Land Rover Experience, and the National Space Centre.
