Hireman flies England flag

The England football team has done the nation proud by reaching this Sunday’s Euro 2020 final, and one hirer that certainly got behind the side - and helped customers to do so, is The Hireman. 

The business has three depots serving London, including one at Wembley – close to the national stadium where England have been fortunate to play most of their tournament games, and where the final against Italy will be held. 

Since just before the championship started, The Hireman’s customers have been able to pick up free England flags that clip on to vehicle windows or mirrors to show their support. 

“The idea is one in a series of giveaways that we are running during the year as a thank-you to clients,” managing director Neil Graham tells me. 

“At Easter we offered crème eggs for collection at our depots and our drivers handed out boxes of them when making deliveries and collections.

“We thought it would be nice to give some things away as a token of our appreciation, especially after a difficult year. Our customers are important and it’s good to say thank-you.”
