Sunbelt on track with Trime

Sunbelt Rentals UK’s specialist Rail business has added Trime UK’s X-Chain LED lighting towers to its fleet. 

Six of the new machines were immediately put to use on a trackside project in Totton, Southampton with round-the-clock working.

As the site was close to residential housing, the contractor needed silent, emission-free lighting. The first X-Chain was connected to mains power through an 110V transformer, with the remaining machines linked together using a heavy duty cable. 

Sunbelt Rentals’ Rail is part of the hirer’s Specialist Solutions business unit. It can provide equipment for CP6 (Control Period 6) rail and trackside projects for operational efficiency, as well as managed services. The activty has depots at Doncaster, Glasgow, London (Heathrow), Manchester, Medway, Newport and Hungerford.
