The disruption to many sectors of industry following the lockdown and other coronavirus response measures mean that a lot of people are looking to update their skills and acquire new ones.

It’s a topic that’s been discussed earlier on this site, and the need is set to grow more urgent when the furlough scheme ends at the end of October under current plans (although further support measures for businesses and employees are expected to be announced later today.)

HSS Training should, therefore, be applauded for its new ‘Train today build tomorrow’ initiative, giving away 100 free delegate places per month for the remainder of 2020 on its national training courses.

These are available to those who have recently become unemployed and want to follow a different career path.
