To meet growing demand for eco-friendly equipment, Speedy Hire has bought 100 more solar lighting towers from Trime UK.
This latest purchase of X-Solar models adds to 50 of the machines the hirer already has in its fleet which have received impressive feedback from customers.
The machine will be used at car parks, trackside projects, outside events and major infrastructure projects such as ongoing work related with HS2.
The emission-free and noise-free lighting tower has four 60W energy-saving LED lamps fitted to a galvanised 8.5m mast. It delivers a light coverage of 2000 square metres and Trime says it will work 24 hours a day , seven days a week in most regions.
The X-Solar has a central lifting eye and four height-adjustable stabilisers with a front jockey wheel. It has certified wind stability up to 50mph and options available include a telemetry system for remote location and operational monitoring, automatic start-up via passive infrared (PIR) sensors operation, and a dimming facility.
Speedy’s managers are also benefiting from Trime’s ongoing technical training activities and its online spare parts ordering system.
