Lifos celebrates
19 June 2023
Lifos was in buoyant mood at Plantworx, having been announced as the winner in the Environmental Initiative category of the show’s Innovation Awards.
As mentioned previously on the blog, the Telford-based company has developed the Fort solar PV (photovoltaic) battery storage system available in 12, 23 and 35kWh versions, with the solar panels able to be stored inside the unit for practicality.
The unit carries a five-year warranty and after seven years critical components can be updated so that the battery operates as new, giving an expected product life of 15 years or more, says the company.
Included in Lifos’ stand display was a folding Continest site cabin developed by Cube Modular. As with other units, the solar panels can be mounted on the roof, but an advantage of the Continest system is its compact dimensions, enabling more to be transported on a truck.
Lifos’ Richard Atwal says that the Fort has been steadily attracting interest and sales since its formal launch at the Executive Hire Show in February and that the first units will be delivered to sites soon.
