Sustainable Trime gets set for IRE event

Sustainability will be the central theme of the Trime group’s stand at the forthcoming International Rental Exhibition in Maastricht, where it will have a stand along with its UK and Netherlands operations. 

Equipment on show will include the X-Solar emission-free lighting tower (pictured above) and the X-ECO Hybrid Lithium which has a lithium battery as well as a backup diesel engine, meaning that for 80 of the time the machine is typically powered only by the battery, giving no noise and zero carbon emissions. 

The lighting tower line-up will also include the X-BOX Hybrid Lithium, a floor-mounted model with a lithium battery and a small, fuel-efficient diesel engine. 

Also on display will be battery machines from the Trime Power division range. Taking centre stage will be a 30000VA battery pack designed to run for up to 30 hours between charges, along with an  8000VA vversion suitable for the event and film industry. 

Other models to be shown include the MGTP 24000/30 THS Lithium 3P Solar Hybrid (pictured below), a Stage V generator with solar panels that is said to deliver 24kVA, backed up by batteries and a diesel engine. 

Trime UK MD Paul Hay said: “We are all looking forward to meeting current and prospective rental clients from right across Europe and beyond. We are anticipating a significant contingent from UK hire firms, and they can expect a warm welcome from me and our teams.” 

The International Rental Exhibition is taking place at the MECC venue in Maastricht from 6 to 8 June and is being held alongside the European Rental Association (ERA) convention on 7 and 8 June.
