Visitors to Plantworx will have the opportunity to see the versatile range of Fort hybrid power solar systems from Lifos and talk to the company’s team of technology specialists.
It is the first time that the business has exhibited at the event, which takes place at the East of England Arena from 13 to 15 June.
As previously reported on the blog, the Lifos Fort is a hybrid solution engineered for use on construction sites, offering a range of solar PV battery storage systems to help the contractors transition to a diesel-free and low-carbon future.
Available in multiple sizes, the Lifos Fort is a self-contained system comprising 18 solar panels which can be quickly deployed either by using the fitted solar panel kick-stand or the optional container roof mounting kit.
The kit makes it suitable for use on site and can be fixed onto the roof of a welfare unit. The system’s compact design allows the panels to be stored inside the machine for easy transportation and deployment.
The hybrid and renewable energy system reduces the cost and emissions of using a diesel generator on site and also means that, when working in residential or urban areas, noise is decreased owing to the less frequent generator run time.
Lifos are also keeping their fingers crossed as the Fort has been shortlisted for a Plantworx Innovation Award.
