United Rentals adds JuiceBoxes

US giant United Rentals has introduced JuiceBox mobile generators from American supplier Evergreen Mobile Power to its equipment fleet. 

The company says the machines can run on propane or natural gas to provide a low-emissions alternative to diesel units and that their operating costs are up to 40 per cent lower, with a 17 per cent decrease in emissions. 

The generators deliver up to 20kW and can be linked together to address higher power demands. They are fitted with dual interchangeable and removable electrical panels so that the machines can be customised to meet various power needs. 

“Diesel engine emission regulations are driving companies to look for new options they can deploy,” said Dan Gribbell, PHVAC (Power, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning ) Region Sales and Marketing Director at United Rentals. “Adding JuiceBox generators to our fleet provides another way we are helping our customers create lower-emission worksites without compromising safety or productivity.”
