Sunbelt adds more Trime solar lights

Sunbelt Rentals has invested in no fewer than 300 additional solar-powered lighting towers from Trime to meet growing demand for emission-free equipment. 

The X-Solar machines are designed to provide emission-free lighting 365 days a year in all conditions, as well as ease of operation and low maintenance.

The machine has four 60W energy-saving LED lamps fitted to a galvanised 8.5m mast and can illuminate an area of 2000 sq m. Its compact dimensions mean that four units can be loaded onto a single truck, reducing traffic movements and emissions. 

As of January 2023, Sunbelt Rentals UK and Ireland had more than 2,000 Trime lighting towers in its lighting fleet, comprising X-Chain, X-Hybrid Solar, X-Hybrid, and X-Eco models These latest X-Solar additions will be deployed on construction sites and outside events throughout the UK and Ireland. 

The move reinforces Sunbelt’s commitment to its Our Planet environmental action plan.
