3-phase unit from Prolectric

Prolectric has responded to market demand with the introduction of the ProPower 3-Phase Solar Hybrid Power unit, a high-performance system that delivers 60kW of hybrid (pass-through) power output to work sites, helping to cut carbon emissions and reduce diesel use.

The new 3-phase unit provides double the inverter output (30kVA) and 105kWh of battery storage which is three times that of the single-phase ProPower. It can also be connected to diesel generators of up to 100kVA to further expand on-site power capacity.

Both models are housed in a compact trailer and have hydraulically operated solar panels plus fast-charging lithium-ion batteries. They run silently on battery power, making them suitable for urban and residential areas, and by minimising generator run-time, Prolectric says they can cut CO2 emissions by an average of 70 per cent.

The ProPower machines also incorporate remote real-time monitoring and management via an online portal. This provides units performance information with diagnostics and alarm functions, as well as the ability to remotely adjust the unit for optimal operation. It can also generate reports for measuring carbon, diesel and quiet running hours, across an entire fleet.

The ProPower 3-Phase will be launched at the Executive Hire Show, taking place at the Coventry Building Society Arena (CBS) on 8 and 9 February. Prolectric says it will also be touring the UK with the machine during February and March, offering customers the opportunity to take part in technical product testing.

The company says its solar hybrid technology has been proven to work all-year round, in all weather conditions over multiple winter and summer cycles.

Prolectric, which is based in Bristol, was awarded a Queen’s Award for Sustainable Development in 2021 and holds a Gold CSR (corporate social responsibility) accreditation.
