Trime boosts hydraulic tools range

Trime has appointed Jim Weaver as European Sales Manager covering the whole of the UK, Europe, and in the Middle East, with the aim to expand the company’s range of hydraulic tools marketed under the Trime DOA brand. 

The DOA product portfolio includes power packs, pumps and generators, as well as hydraulic tools. 

Jim, who has previously held senior sales positions with various manufacturers of construction equipment and has also been employed in the mechanical handling and plant hire industries, said: “Trime is a company I have admired for its innovative approach to the development of new products and its strong emphasis on environmental issues. So it’s an absolute pleasure to become part of the Trime team, at what is a very exciting time in their development.”

Trime UK MD Paul Hay commented: “We are delighted to welcome Jim to Trime. We are confident that he will bring the DOA range to the forefront of the hydraulic equipment markets.”

DOA was acquired by Trime in December 2019. Based near Milan, its name derives from the initials of Dinamica Olio Acciai (Dynamic Oil and Steel) and the operation specialises in the production of portable hydraulic equipment. 

Trime, whose headquarters are also located close to Milan, operates two production facilities in Italy. As well as its popular lighting tower range, the company manufactures water-recycling wash bays and dust suppression products.
