Doosan swings in

Doosan’s new DX85R-7 8-tonne mini excavator is the latest addition to the company’s next-generation range of Stage V machines.
The reduced tail swing model utilises a newly improved upper structure platform offering increased durability and robustness and a different boom swing cylinder layout, resulting in an increased boom swing angle of 60 degrees. This facilitates work in confined spaces.
The 65hp engine’s DPF (diesel particulate filter) increases the ash cleaning period by 25 per cent to 5,000 hours compared against the previous DX85R-3 model.
A new series main control valve (MCV) is designed to improve performance by reducing the internal pressure loss by more than 40 per cent, lowering energy use and giving decreased operating costs.
