Husqvarna makes the cut

Eco-friendly packaging is being used for a new range of diamond blades from Husqvarna Construction. The new Vari-Cut line-up is supplied in materials that are plastic-free and incorporate FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified cardboard. 

The range includes different blades that are optimised for various building materials including natural stone like granite and marble, harder substances like reinforced concrete, other forms of concrete, brick, roof tiles, asphalt and abrasive materials. 

The segment height on the Vari-Cut blades has been increased from 10mm to 12mm which is said to enable higher cutting speeds by up to 15 per cent, with as much as 20 per cent longer life. The blades are also designed for low vibration.
