Trime’s Green triple
28 November 2022
Trime has won three further awards from The Green Organisation for its environmentally friendly products.
These include a Green World Ambassador Award for the X-Solar Hybrid lighting tower powered by a combination of a solar panel, a battery and a back-up charging system.
A Green World Award Silver was also presented for Trime’s X-Eco Lithium Hybrid site lighting tower in the Energy Management category, while the third honour received was a Green Apple Environment Award Bronze for the X-Eco Hybrid Lithium low-emission lighting tower in the Fuel Efficiency class.
The X-Eco Hybrid Lithium has LED lamps and is powered by a combination of a lithium battery and a small fuel-efficient HVO (hydro-treated vegetable oil) compatible engine. The machine can be fully recharged in less than two hours, says Trime, meaning that for 80 per cent of operating time it is powered solely by its batteries, emitting no noise or carbon emissions.
