Remove weeds with battery power

A new introduction from SPA Power Machinery is the Westermann WKB330 Weed Ripper, a battery powered pedestrian machine for removing vegetation and moss from hard surfaces without chemicals or water.
The unit has four rotary brushes mounted on a spinning head with a 330mm working width. It is designed to work close to walls and kerb edges.
Director Laurie Anthony tells me that the machine’s two 58V lithium-ion batteries typically provide one hour’s operation and that it can remove weeds on concrete, block paving, cobbles and similar surfaces.
A version with a petrol engine is also available.
