Battery Bobcat mini

A striking number of electric mini excavators were on display at the recent Bauma exhibition in Munich. 

Amongst them was Bobcat’s new 2-tonne class E19e, an electric version of its E19 diesel model. It complements the smaller E10e which was launched commercially in 2019.

Measuring 98cm wide, the new model is suitable for work in confined spaces such as indoor demolition or outside applications that require quiet, zero-emission operations.

Folding travel pedals and the absence of floor-mounted auxiliary and boom swing offset pedals optimise legroom. 

The E19e’s 17.3kW battery provides an operating time of 3.5 hours battery capacity and can be recharged using a ‘super-fast’ charger.
