Nixon Hire charges ahead with Himoinsa

Nixon Hire has ordered a significant number of Himoinsa EHR battery storage systems for its recently established Renewable Power division. 

This includes a mix of EHR 30/45 and EHR 45/60 models offering 30kVA and 45kVA nominal capacities, with single-phase and three-phase capability. 

“We chose the units because of their versatility and build quality, as well as the excellent backup service and support from Clive Dix, managing director of Himoinsa Power Solutions in Crewe,” Nick Hibbard, Nixon's renewables division manager told me. 

Clive, pictured (right) with Nick at the recent Speedy Expo event in Liverpool, added that the same thickness of steel is used for the canopies as on Himoinsa’s conventional generators, and a similar design is used so that the base is protected from damage. Nixon Hire is a re-hire partner to Speedy. 

The EHR models also have an easy-to-use setup and management interface. 

Nick said that the first units delivered were quickly put to use on a site, connected to a Solar Pod array and a tiltable AJC EasyCabin frame assembly, and that the backup generator has hardly been in operation.
