Trime harvests another Green Apple

Following on from the company’s 2022 award for its X-Solar Hybrid lighting tower, Trime’s X-ECO Lithium Hybrid lighting tower has been listed by The Green Organisation as a finalist in the Engineering and Fuel Efficiency category of its Green Apple Awards.

Trime will found out if the company has won a Gold, Silver or Bronze Awards at a presentation ceremony to be held at the Houses of Parliament in November.

The X-ECO Lithium Hybrid is powered by advanced lithium battery technology enabling the set can be fully recharged in less than two hours. Consequently, in a ten-hour cycle, for 80 per cent of its operation, the machine is powered exclusively by its batteries, emitting zero noise and zero carbon emissions.

Illumination is via six long-lasting LED lamps illuminating an area of more than 3,000 sq m.

Trime (UK) ’s managing director, Paul Hay, said: “We are honoured to receive this accolade. It is a testament to the hard work that our design engineers have approached to develop this new product. Our principal aims are to design and manufacture a range of clean, robust, and affordable lighting towers that offer bright, safe illumination. To have the X-ECO Lithium Hybrid officially acknowledged as a sustainable product is extremely satisfying.”
