Husqvarna broadens surface prep range

Husqvarna Construction is launching the first wave of its recently rebranded Blastrac and Diamatic surface range, comprising floor scrapers, scarifiers and floor grinders, which are now available to order in all key markets.
The acquisition of Blastrac was completed in January last year and in late 2021 Husqvarna announced its intention to further consolidate brands in the surface preparation segment, with a supporting campaign entitled The Orange Evolution2.
“We have showcased our rebranded product range at multiple trade shows,” said Stijn Verherstraeten, senior vice president concrete surfaces and floors at Husqvarna Construction. “It has been very well received and we are really happy to announce that we are now ready to start delivering to our broad range of customers in the surface preparation industry.”
Existing Husqvarna surface preparation equipment customers now have access to these latest additions, while Blastrac users and partners can benefit from Husqvarna products such as compactors, concrete placement equipment, sawing and drilling equipment, and demolition robots, as well as a wide digital service offering.
The second wave scheduled for spring 2023 will include shot-blasting and steel-blasting solutions and associated dust extractors. Until 2023, these products will continue to be available under the Blastrac brand.
