Norton Clipper launches floor solutions range

Norton Clipper has launched a new floor solutions equipment range comprising surface preparation, sanding, polishing and cleaning machines, together with related accessories and vacuum units. The line-up includes 110V, 230V and 400V models.
Highlighted models include the CG 280 single head grinder which takes 280mm discs and can be converted quickly into an edge grinder.
The larger CG 450 has a 450mm working width and incorporates a full metal gearbox for heavy-duty performance. It can also be used for polishing and cleaning applications. The 550mm-wide CG 550 (400V) and CG 550 UNO (230V) are also available.
The wood flooring machines in the comprehensive range include the CG Wood 430, a counter-rotating planetary sander with four heads that is designed for pre-grinding, sanding, oiling, brushing and finishing tasks.
For cleaning applications, the CG Clean 430 is a single-brush unit for activities such as de-waxing, shining and micro-sanding, but it can also be used on delicate surfaces like carpets and rugs.
Also available is the CG Multi 430, a versatile machine that can be used as for grinding, polishing, floor preparation, cleaning and wood sanding. Its wheels can be set so that the head touches the floor, or elevated for work such as cleaning and polishing. Extra weights can also be added to the machine’s head.
Norton Clipper, which is part of Saint-Gobain Abrasives, also offers a comprehensive range of tools and accessories that can be used with the new floor care machines for floor preparation, grinding, polishing, sanding and cleaning, as well as chemicals such as concrete hardeners and sealants.
The floor solutions equipment line-up is the result of more than two years of research and development led by Anaïs Brignon, Norton Clipper’s Senior Machines Design Engineer who is based at the company’s manufacturing plant in Luxembourg.
Anaïs demonstrated some of the machines at the recent product launch held at Norton’s UK headquarters in Stafford, as shown below.
