
FGS chooses LGMG models

Plant and powered access hirer FGS Plant has placed its biggest ever order for access platforms, having invested over £2 million in a range of LGMG scissor lifts and boom lifts from Access Platform Sales, the UK and Ireland distributor.
The machines for LGMG, is delivering the platforms in two tranches, the first now and the rest in early 2023. The order spans a range of models with working heights from 7.8m to 21.7m.
The platforms will be shared between FGS Plant’s own fleet, based at its HQ depot at Aylesford in Kent, and its access rental business, Hire Access Platforms located in Poole.
FGS Plant’s managing director Stuart Willy said: “When we looked at LGMG, the quality of the platforms was very good indeed, their specification is excellent and APS can guarantee fast delivery with a deal that made the best commercial sense.”
Dave Solomon, director of Hire Access Platforms, said: “LGMG platforms offer an excellent package with strong options across its product range, and we’re confident we’ll get equally strong after sales back-up from APS.”
Chinese manufacturer LGMG offers electric and diesel scissor lifts and boom lifts, including lithium battery electric platforms and rough terrain models.
Hire Access Platforms is also taking delivery of two BoSS PA-lift push-around scissor lifts, which offer a working height of 5.4m.
