MCS offers Stripe

Event hire businesses can take advantage of the Stripe sales payment platform which can now integrate with software from MCS.

The new cloud-based functionality in the company’s MCS-rm system enables hirers to take credit card payments from account and cash customers on a pre-defined credit card, improving cash flow and facilitating the transaction process.

Nick Thomson, MCS sales director, says: “Previously rental businesses would need to send an invoice and then manually process the card payment over the phone. By using the Stripe integration, this no longer needs to be done manually and instead is processed automatically.”

The company says that, as card details are stored securely on the Stripe platform and not in MCS-rm rental software, the integration ensures that hirers companies abide by PCI Compliance regulations regarding data safety. It can also protect against fraud. 

MCS will demonstrate the system on its stand at the popular Showman’s Show for the event industry on 20 and 21 October in Newbury.
