In trim with Stihl

Bluetooth connectivity is amongst the enhancements added to two updated professional hedge trimmers from Stihl.

The HSA 94 R and HSA 94 T models are configured so as to be ready for use with the manufacturer’s forthcoming Smart Connector 2 A system. This includes an attachment that plugs directly into the machine’s control unit and transmits data on operation, servicing and other parameters to a smartphone or tablet within range. 

The trimmers have brushless EC motors and offer reduced vibration and sound levels. Automatic motor reversal means that the blades can be released if they become jammed.

The HSA 94 R delivers a lower blade speed for cutting thicker growth and managing tougher hedges, while the HSA 94 T offers faster performance more suited to trimming ornamental hedges and leaving a fine finish. 

Both models have three speed settings and include rotating multi-function control handles for side and top cutting. Power comes from Stihl’s AP batteries and AR backpack batteries.
