Green screed

Battery powered products can offer great operational versatility and more hire options. Reinforcing this once again is the BV 30i screed just launched by Husqvarna Construction Products.

As the machine emits no fumes it can be used indoors and in poorly ventilated areas, and its low noise characteristics mean it can be used in sensitive environments. Vibration is also reduced. 

The BV 30i uses the same battery system as on some Husqvarna forest and garden products, offering a high power-to-weight ratio, all-weather operation, fast charging and active cooling.

As with other battery products there is obviously no engine to maintain, fewer wear parts, no oil changes required and it does away with the bane of many hirers’ lives: the risk of the operator using the wrong fuel.
