Torrent on track with Prolectric

Torrent Trackside has become the exclusive rail industry hire partner of Prolectric, which manufactures environmentally friendly site lighting products.
The deal means that Torrent Trackside, which is part of the Vp group, has taken on Prolectric’s entire rail fleet of products including ProTrack link lighting and ProRXM solar lighting towers.
As mentioned last week on the blog in the review of hirers at the Rail Live show - at which both companies exhibited - Torrent Trackside has committed to investing in cleaner, emission free equipment. The hirer says it will now have the UK’s largest rail hire fleet of battery and solar lighting equipment, which will be rolled out across its UK depot network.
Jonathan May, managing director of Torrent Trackside commented, “The rail industry is demanding more environmental sustainability and our partnership with Prolectric will greatly enhance our ability to meet this demand.
