New from Develon is the DX10Z-7 1-tonne zero tail swing mini excavator, which offers improved performance compared with the previous DX10Z model it replaces.

The machine has a 7.6kW (10.35hp) Kubota engine and is only 730mm wide when the tracks and the front blade are fully retracted. When extended, the width of the square footprint becomes 1100mm for enhanced stability.

The excavator’s increased performance is based around a new 1.45m boom design and increased arm length from 810 to 890mm), resulting in a greater working range. This includes a 21.5% rise in dump height of 2205mm and an 8.5% increase in digging reach at ground level of 3355mm.

A cylinder-over-boom design is incorporated to provide protection for the cylinder and an increase in lifting capacity.
