Clip-on safety from Niftylift

The ClipOn is a simple safety device that provides operators of Niftylift powered access platforms with a visual and audible reminder to connect their harness.

Similar in principle to a car safety belt warning system, when the machine is switched on red LED lights above each harness point and under the cage indicate that no harness lanyard has been attached. If the operator tries to activate the unit using the green start button or foot switch without the harness attached, an alarm sounds.

The LEDs change to green when the harness is attached and the alarm stops.

The lights under the cage also act as an indicator to site supervisors.

The ClipOn system works as the metal lanyard eye bridges the short gap between two plates forming the attachment ring. It can be fitted to many Niftylift models.
