Chippindale goes online

Chippindale Hire & Sales has launched an online sales platform as the long-established business aims to broaden its reach into garden and construction tool sales.

Following a two-year research period with customers, Chippindale has developed a clear, straightforward website with intuitive navigation, one-click processing and account hubs making it easy for customers to find and pay for what they want.

Aimed at homeowners, landscapers and small trades professionals, the e-commerce store offers an extensive selection of tools and equipment, with products from suppliers such as Stihl, Atlas Copco, Belle and Bomag.

"This launch is a landmark step for Chippindale Hire & Sales, showcasing our commitment to blending trusted quality with modern convenience,” says Paul Blake, Managing Director.  “With our decades of experience, we are looking to provide a fantastic service to the general public and trade, catering to the diverse needs of every customer, from professional builders to home gardening enthusiasts.”

The site includes sections such as Expert Notes where the company provides straightforward recommendations for customers to understand product benefits without wading through technical details.

The company offers next-day delivery for popular light construction equipment.

Chippindale Hire & Sales, which recently celebrated its 75th anniversary, has also upgraded its entire website, including the plant hire and sales sections, and plans to incorporate new features into the e-commerce platform in the near future.

Today Chippindale employs over 120 people and has nine depots serving the north of England and beyond.
