Sun shines on Stuart Power

Stuart Power continues to develop its innovative range of containerised Hybrid Power Safe battery packs. 

Managing director Russell Tregent updated me when I visited the company’s stand at the Showman’s Show in Newbury last month. Indeed, the business took a larger space this year to showcase a wider selection of products. 

Hybrid Power Safe models are available with a 30kVA or 45kVA battery and have a 65kVA Stage V backup generator. The battery provides power in normal operation, with the generator starting automatically if demand is high or when the battery is depleted. 

The latest development seen at the Show is the option of having solar panels attached to the container roof, giving further environmentally friendly benefits. 

The machines are designed by Stuart Power itself and assembled at its headquarters in Norfolk. Russell says that demand for the units is increasing sharply. 

New also to Stuart Power’s hire fleet is a range of acoustic barriers to meet the requirements of customers who again want to minimise the environmental impact of their work sites.
