New BGG 'twinpack' sets

New from BGG UK is a range of ‘twinpack’ Stage V generator sets mounted in custom-built 10ft, 30ft and 40ft containers. 

By coupling two Stage V generators together, larger power nodes can be achieved, in various combinations from 300kVA to 1320kVA. The sets are designed to give long running times in terms of both fuel consumption and AdBlue usage. 

BGG UK’s managing director Chris Archer also tells me that the machines are easy to service owing to the way they are positioned within the containers. 

Two versions of the generators are available. GX models (below) give a low noise level of 75dBA at 7m, while FQ variants (above) are even quieter with a level of 75dBA at 1m.
