MKM adds JCBs for new hire fleet

MKM, an independent builder’s merchant, has invested in new JCB machines as part of the fleet for the tool and equipment hire operation it is introducing at selected locations. 

MKM Hire currently has a presence at five of the merchant's branches at Bromsgrove, Lincoln North, Manchester Central, Norwich and Perth. The plan is to eventually establish a nationwide network. 

MKM operates from 100 sites and aims to tailor each one to local customer needs. 

The JCB equipment order, supplied by dealer TC Harrison, comprises more than 80 machines, including micro and mini excavators, tracked dumpers, one-tonne site dumpers and hydraulic breakers.
