Progen revs up with JCB

Progen Power, a specialist hirer of temporary power and lighting equipment, recently bought 60 generators from JCB in a deal totalling more than £750,000.

The order includes compact models ranging from 18kVA to 220kVA,  through to larger capacity rental specification machines up to 500kVA. 

Some were used to provide power at the recent F1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, where the facility was switched off from the main grid for the three-day event and was powered by the generators.

Progen Power is based in Exeter and serves several markets across the UK including construction, music festivals, sporting events and emergency requirements.
