I’m going to be travelling...

Next week the content on both sections of the website will be a bit different. 

After two years and more than 1,000 uploaded stories (a milestone reached this week), I am having a holiday now that Covid is receding and we can all do our bit for the global economy. 

My wife and I are going to the mountainous Picos de Europa region in northern Spain. We honeymooned there… well, let’s just say some years ago. 

However, I think I owe it to my followers and advertisers to try and  keep Alan Guthrie On Hire and Site-Eco ticking over, so next week I plan to provide regular ‘post cards’ based on our travels, including some thoughts relating to the hire industry and sustainability – hopefully not too tenuous! So please keep checking the site. 

To give you an idea, a few topics I hope to cover include: the dangerous road in a gorge; the town that drowned; hire cars in the future; and a place where the sun doesn’t shine…
