Two trucks for Tippers

Midlands-based Tippers Tool Hire has recently added a further two Isuzu 7.5-tonne beaver tail trucks to its delivery fleet, typically carrying items ranging from 0.9-tonne excavators up to 3-tonne dumpers.

The operation is part of the family-run Tippers Builders Merchants organisation, which has 12 depots, seven of which has a tool and plant hire presence. 

The new vehicles join four other similar specification Isuzus that have been in the company’s fleet since 2016.

Alan Elsworthy, tool and plant hire manager with Tippers Tool Hire, said: “Since we acquired our first Isuzu, they have proven themselves to be extremely fuel efficient, with an excellent payload capacity. 

“Most importantly, the specification ensures that they are ULEZ (ultra low emission zone) compliant, enabling us to deliver to all areas, including the Birmingham Clean-Air Zone.” 

“Our drivers really enjoy driving the Isuzu trucks and, by specifying the Easyshift automatic gearbox, they are extremely easy to drive, both on local deliveries and further afield. The low-entry cabs also make access very simple, as well as giving great visibility when out on the road.”
