Takeuchi’s seven-tonner

Owing to the pandemic, the recent ScotPlant exhibition in Edinburgh was the first time that the biennial event had been held since 2018. 

So it was one of the first opportunities for construction professionals north of the border to see at first-hand Takeuchi’s TB370, a 7-tonne excavator launched in 2020. 

Weighing in at 7042kg it has jog-dial controls and a colour touch-screen VDU in the cab, which tilts up to facilitate service access.

The TB370 offers a dig depth of 4085mm, dump height of 4545mm and ground reach of up to 6565mm. A rear camera is fitted as standard and all-round LED lights are incorporated.
