Greener, cleaner air

The Hire Supply Company (HSC) is increasing its range of Master dehumidifiers and air conditioners with the latest models designed to reduce emissions.
The company says that interest in the products has grown since amendments in 2021 to the F-Gas regulations which control the permissible fluorinated gases in equipment in order to protect the environment.
New models include the Master DHP55DV dehumidifier (pictured) and, being introduced in July, the compact DHP20, which HSC says is already attracting interest from national and independent hirers.
HSC adds that it is important to consider the global warming potential rating of such equipment, and that the differences can be striking. It cites the comparison of a product with an R410 rating which has a GWP CO2 equivalent of 2088kg per kg, whereas these Master dehumidifiers have ratings of R290 or R1234YF, producing 3kg and 4kg per kg respectively.
