Rockets with cabs

Rocket Rentals has invested significantly in cabbed dumpers for its fleet. 

The Gloucestershire-based business has just bought 6-tonne, 9-tonne and 10-tonne dual view machines from Wacker Neuson, together with convetional 3-tonne models with cabs from the manufacturer. 

“We believe there is a strong market for them,” managing director Simon Tombin tells me. “A number of major house builders have suggested that they will be insisting on cabbed machines this year for reasons of operator comfort and safety.”

Rocket Rentals has also added a Wacker Neuson compact 4m telescopic handler that can be towed on a trailer.
