AKFS drives forward

Vehicle conversion specialist AKFS reports that sales of its low-floor Plant & Go and Load & Go models are motoring. 

Phil Simcox, group sales manager, describes it as “an onward and upward spiral. People who see them for the first time want them, and those who already have them want to order more.

“We broke all our previous sales records over the past year and the biggest challenge at the moment is getting enough chassis cabs.” 

The Plant & Go weighs in at 3500kg or 4500kg GVW and has a 530mm floor height. Payload capacity is 1430kg. The Load & Go is popular with grounds care professionals and has a rear ramp included as standard for transporting smaller utility vehicles.
