Instant Tool & Plant Hire of Newcastle-under-Lyme has added two Snorkel trailer mounted boom lifts to its hire fleet.

The TL37J and TL49J towable machines are both bi-energy powered and are equipped with Snorkel’s optional friction drive system for easier movement when unhitched from a vehicle. 

As previously reported on the blog, Instant was founded by husband and wife team Andy and Joanne Macartney in late 2019. The business is open seven-days-a-week and provides customers with a 24-hour support hotline. 

Manufactured at Snorkel’s UK facility in Washington, Tyne & Wear, the TL37J can reach a maximum working height of 12.9m, and is capable of lifting 215kg. It has a 1.3m jib boom with 160° platform rotation for manoeuvrability at height. The larger TL49J can lift a maximum capacity of 200kg to a working height of up to 16.7m.
