Sunbelt goes 360

The popular Showman’s Show which is aimed at the event hire industry took place at it usual home of the Newbury Showground in Berkshire this week, but a major difference from previous years was the enormous Covid-19 testing facility occupying a significant portion of the site. 

It is one of hundreds of such facilities created around the country by Sunbelt Rentals, requiring an intensive and co-ordinated effort to supply all the equipment needed, from generators and lighting, to marquees and barriers. 

This experience, together with work at other large-scale events such as the G7 summit meeting in Cornwall in the summer, has led the business to launch Sunbelt Rentals 360, which was the focal point of the hirer’s stand at the show (below). 

The service aims to offer a one-stop solution providing equipment from across the company’s 18 divisions. It will also source items from outside the core offering from supply partners, managed by dedicated project teams.
