Morris Leslie acquires Selwood plant hire

Morris Leslie Plant Hire has acquired the assets and business of the Selwood group’s plant hire division. 

The addition of Selwood’s locations in Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Exeter and Southampton brings Morris Leslie’s depot network total to 17, stretching from Inverness to Plymouth. 

All Selwood plant hire staff will be transferring across and branch locations and contact details remain the same.

Selwood, which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year, states that the decision follows a strategic decision by the board to focus on the group’s core business of engineered pump solutions, fluid handling and water treatment. 

Based at Errol in Perthshire, the Morris Leslie group’s interests include plant hire and sales, vehicle and plant auctions, property development and self-storage facilities.
